Dr. Olivia Black earned her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders in 2023 from Penn State University and her doctorate in Audiology from Northwestern University in 2026. She is excited to be back in Grand Rapids, where her family has lived for many generations.
During her clinical education, Olivia had experiences working with patients in hospital settings, and completed her residency with an Ear, Nose, and Throat clinic in Wisconsin. Through her interactions with patients and their families, she understands the impact hearing loss has on a person’s quality of life. She is driven to ease frustrations that can come with a hearing loss, and knows that each person’s experience with hearing loss is different. “Understanding and managing hearing loss can be challenging, and I want to support patients through their journey to better hearing.”
